Travel Schedules

Updates and notes as of July 19, 2012 are printed in red.
Updates and notes as of December 14, 2012 are printed in green.

I already have my travel schedules until October 2013. Listed below are my booked trips here in the Philippines and abroad. Other trips may be included depending on my free time and budget. I choose not to delete plans that have been scrapped so that everything can be traced down, from initial plans to completed trips.

May 2012
I will be visiting Davao Oriental, Surigao del Sur, Surigao del Norte, and Cebu. I am excited to see Aliwagwag Falls in Cateel, dubbed by hydraulic engineers as the highest waterfalls in the Philippines. In Surigao del Sur, I will be seeing Tinuy-an Falls in Bislig, Enchanted River in Hinatuan, and Britannia Group of Islands in San Agustin. My Surigao del Norte will focus on Bucas Grande Islands. *Completed*

June 2012
I will be attending a conference and paper presentation in Bangkok and will definitely include side trips in the Old City, River side (Chao Phraya), and Pattaya. Can't wait for some bargain shopping, too! Haha *Completed*

July 2012
Rest month. No booked trips for this month since it is our church's anniversary month. All weekends will be devoted for preparations.

August 2012
Short visit to Zamboanga City to see Merloquet Falls and Sta. Cruz Island (Pink beach). Will also revisit (for the 5th time) Cebu with my Masters friends. We have no planned destinations yet. *completed*

September 2012
Overnight trip in Marinduque. No concrete plans yet but will definitely include a trip to Gaspar Island. *cancelled*

Booked a trip to Boracay with close friends. It'll be my fifth time to visit Boracay, but the first time to go there with friends. *completed*

October - December 2012
No booked trips yet. These are the typical months when typhoons strike so I am not yet convinced that I should book trips during these months. And normally, I don't go out on trips during December. But I am interested in going to Ilocos Norte and Cagayan.

Will be going on a trip in October in the great Northern Luzon loop with workmates. We'll visit Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, Cagayan, Isabela and Nueva Vizcaya. *cancelled*

Went on a day tour in San Fernando, La Union (October 2012) and Alaminos, Pangasinan (November 2012) instead.

January 2013
Will be visiting Romblon and take a boat going to Boracay. I hope to catch the closing ceremonies of the Ati-Atihan.

Romblon flight is cancelled but will push through with my visit to Romblon via Malay, Aklan.

February 2013
Booked a trip to San Jose Mindoro. No plans yet.

Flight cancelled. Will spend a weekend in Dinagat Islands on the second week of February instead.

March 2013
Booked a trip to Virac, Catanduanes. *flight cancelled* Will definitely try surfing. Aside from that, no other plans yet. First out-of-the-country trip also for the year. Will be visiting Malaysia and Singapore.

April 2013
Booked a trip to General Santos City, via Davao City, to see Lake Sebu and the Seven Waterfalls. Will include a side trip in Sarangani

May 2013
This will be my biggest out-of-the country attempt so far. I booked trips to Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Jakarta, and Yogyakarta. No definite plans yet.

June 2013
Will revisit Cebu for the nth time. Also, I will go on an overnight trip in Ozamis City.

July 2013
Just like in the previous years, I do not plan trips during this month to make way for church preparations.

August 2013
Will visit Isla de Gigantes in Carles, Iloilo.

September 2013
Booked a trip to Cotabato to see Asik-Asik Falls.

October 2013
My last out-of-the-country trip for the year. Booked a trip to Badar Seri Begawan.

So that's the overview of my upcoming trips. In case you want to join me in any of those trips, feel free to contact me so that we can discuss our plans. If you reside in one of the places I've mentioned, I am eager to meet you over a serving of your native dish or delicacy :)
